Solomon's Private File #106
These stories about Stephen and Solomon take place starting in
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 18 in this story, in the Summer of 2044.

Rangnorik and Daren came back from their other dimension excursion,
and gave me their report. I said to Rangnorik, "So, what do you want to
do?" He said, "I don't know how we could establish a school there. And
if we did, we would have trouble keeping it from being noticed and
influenced with. Very few students, too." Daren said, "And the few
students there might be, are damaged." I said, "What about other
planets in the area?" Daren said, "Oops! Rangnorik, we made a mistake.
Wherever possible, we avoid looking at suspected problems only in
isolation. We have to go back." We all hugged each other, and they
ported away. A week later they were back. Daren said, "Did you know?" I
said, "I think I didn't, because I don't know what you're asking
about." He said, "Their world has something like a twin. Ancient forced
colonization, a little like what happened with the Nagindra. They've
got Basic Adept Secret Guardians, active and improving slowly."
Rangnorik said, "We would like to work with them." Daren said, "Like
with Misnok." Rangnorik said, "We want to use you and your fat aura to
open them up." I said with a slight smile, "You mean request my help?"
Daren poked Rangnorik, and said, "Right. Your help." I said, "Point.
No, not that." They laughed. He pointed to the new planet. I examined
it. I said, "On their next meeting. Give me your ideas. Er, after you
create some." Pokes, and then hugs and kisses.
It was a nice world I ported to, in front of a door to something like
a Temple. I knocked on it. A woman came to open it and stared at me. I
smiled and said, "I am Solomon. May I come in and speak with you?" She
recovered from her shock, and said, "Yes, please. I am Third here. We
don't use names." We went in, and into a small meeting room, where
there was a conference going on. They all rose and bowed to me. I
returned it. Third said, "He is Solomon." One said, "I am First. Please
join us." I sat with them. I said, "You forgot your names?" He looked a
little insulted, and said, "In our group it is our custom to not use
names, but numbers." I said, "When was this established?" He said,
"About 200 years ago." I said, "Was the person who initiated this
custom unusually strong willed?" He said with some surprise, "Yes he
was." I said, "And your progress in abilities slowed, starting from
that time?" They were really surprised and then thoughtful, and then
more surprised, and then a little annoyed. They all looked at each
other, and nodded. He said, "I am Rachmark. Do you always change long
held traditions with so few words?" I said, "Successfully, not very
often." We grinned at each other.
I said, "Hierarchies stifle the development of those with our
abilities." He said, "Your abilities are much greater than ours. Will
you help us to improve?" I said, "There is a problem with that. The
training must begin in childhood, and with those with supreme
intelligence and aptitude, to fully advance to the next step after your
level." He said, "I expected something like this, with your ability to
teleport." They looked at him in surprise. He said, "The appearance of
his aura and life sign, so suddenly." They nodded. I said, "We will
train your children that we qualify. But not here; at our own school.
When they are able, they will come back here and open a school of their
own, if they wish to. They probably will. We all teach. That's part of
who we are." He said, "Thank you." I said, "I'm here for other reasons,
too. Your origin." He said, "We know this isn't our original planet.
Biology and legends indicate that. Is your planet from whence we came?"
I said, "No, my planet isn't even in this dimension." They were really
surprised. He said, "But you look a lot like us!" I said with a grin,
"I hope you didn't think I failed to notice that." They looked at me
strangely. I said, "No, not all my people have my strange humor. If
they did, I would want it back." They smiled.
I said, "You have done well here. A good planet." They were pleased.
I said, "It's not so good elsewhere. Your ancestral planet, its people,
need your help, but they would be the first to deny it. You know what I
mean." He said, "I do. That's why we are secret. They don't have
Guardians?" I said, "That's correct. We have found only one suitable
student, and in his research assignment, he found you. There is a
problem. They have developed differently. They have mind powers, almost
the whole population, the equivalent to half of your ability, but
stronger, which they mostly ignore except in emergencies. They can feel
emotions, but they act worse to each other than most people do, who
can't feel them!" He said, "I think I see what you mean. They really do
need help. But you won't do it because you are not of them." I said,
"It's not right for us to interfere." He said, "But you think we as we
are now are unable to help them. But our children who become your
was very pleased and flattered, but tried to hide it. I said, "In my
work, outside of my own group, it's not often that I can give such
pleasant compliments. I think I enjoy that a little too much, but I'm
not willing to stop." He said, "There have been some in our history who
have become so great in spirit that all could see it. Is your aura
visible to all?" I said, "Yes." They nodded.
He said, "How did you learn our language?" I said, "I haven't. You
are hearing me in your minds. My speech is in my own language." One
said, "I noticed the sounds didn't agree with what I was
understanding." I said, "I've changed that. I'm now speaking in your
language. One of my students just gave it to me." They said their
equivalent of wow. I said, "I hear that a lot." They chuckled. I said,
"If you like, I can give you the language and basic history of your
original planet." He said, "Just give?" I said, "Instantly." He said,
"I know you would not harm us. Please." I did it. Then I said in the
other language, "This is in their language. I see you DO understand me.
You can read and write it, too. Well, if you want to." Some awed
smiles.
I said, "I can give you something else. My love. Will you accept it?"
They were too overcome with emotion to speak, so they just nodded. I
gave them a Ki enhanced local broadcast. While they were recovering, I
said, "My sister does this for my entire world four times a year, and
included in that is something that you may have difficulty accepting.
All who are ill or injured are healed in a few minutes, and that can
include new limbs as the originals. And she isn't the one who is doing
that part. No, not me, or any living person." He said in absolute awe,
"The Supreme Being?" I said, "Yes. He who we work for." He said, after
some recovery, "You will do this for our world?" I said, "Our students
do it for their own worlds. It's disruptive to normal living, so it
must be announced by the government, and the person who does it should
not be known. You know why." He said, "Yes. Such attention is harmful
to our spirits." I said, "That I know all too well. I am known on my
world, but not what I look like, fortunately. I use illusions as
disguises. That is known. Also, there is no ordinary method for the
public to contact me directly. No, I didn't choose to be known. My
parents did that in their own notoriety, to prevent a disaster. My
world is not as advanced as most, in technology or social ability. They
need a LOT of help. But we can only do it very gently, as improvement
must come from within." They nodded in understanding. He said, "You do
the most by personal example?" I said, "I do, and with words that have
important messages hidden in them. Politicians have very mixed feelings
about me." They chuckled.
I said, "My own group had the same reaction." He said, "They watch
you?" I said, "We call it monitoring. We are not able to lie or act
unjustly, but there is a possibility of brain damage that could change
that. We watch for that, and to learn from each other. And to share
love. Only a few can monitor me across dimensions. Yes, we are not all
the same, and in our galaxy, we are of many different species. We have
founded other schools. They can't come to my world because they look
too different, and my world isn't allowed offworld contact. Too
primitive." He said, "Yet you have developed." I said, "It's a long and
complicated story, for another time. For now, there is this. Adversity
can force advancement. My father avoided death by developing himself in
secret. He founded our current Guardians, and led them through two
incarnations, until his spirit became too advanced to remain in this
life. I can feel his presence in the healing. We sometimes exchange a
few words. He really likes my humor." He said, "HE is the Supreme
Being?" I said, "He is a part of Him, yes. That's what happens with
people like him." He said, "And you?" I said, "Yes. When I give up this
life, I will not return. That won't be soon. There is a lot of work to
do."
I said, "You here are still able to improve. Love is the start of it.
You can't be all who you are, until you can share all who you are. We
know this, because it has been true for all species we have contacted
who had Guardians, to their sometimes very embarrassed surprise, and we
were able to help them improve. Also exercise your abilities, PK most
of all. Here is an image of Rangnorik, who is my student of your
original world. Here is his contact on my world, my half brother,
Daren. They both can teleport between dimensions. They will be working
with you if you wish, and they will be transporting students of your
people. Here is a list of acceptable candidates, and the rules of our
school. How you can convince them to come, I have no idea. Because our
world is restricted, and there are waring nations, our school is not
set up for tours by visitors. But those we have established on other
worlds are. We can take you to see them if you wish. At your and their
convenience. But a caution. They do not know yet, this new thing
regarding dimensional travel, and only those of my family's blood and
Rangnorik, are presently able to do it. It is not helpful to reveal
things of special abilities that they are unable to have, unless it's
absolutely necessary."
He said, "You are wise. I think we would like to visit your schools."
I said with a grin, "I knew that!" They chuckled. I said, "They will
not know you are not of my people, until you tell them. That should be
interesting. The students can be very affectionate, and those with fur,
know very well how we soft naked skinned people feel about feeling
that. Yes, they are very open about sexual things, as those are who
have fur, feathers, or scales, usually are. And there is love. They all
share it. Here is a communicator. It will connect to our comm center.
Ask for Rangnorik or Daren, and they will answer. Please don't examine
it with PK, or it might stop working." He said, "A test?" I said, "Not
is a test. However, I have been known to help that along a little, at
times." He said with a grin, "I don't doubt it!"
I stood, and said, "You have much to think about. I should let you do
that in peace. You have felt the love I have for all. But for special
friends, I have more love to give." I opened my arms. They knew what to
do. I had to help them sit, after. Then I said, "May God be with you
always." I ported to the usual after action meeting. Daren said, "That
went well." I said, "Good people." Rangnorik said, "And you had to
start improving them." I said, "My presence started it. I just managed
it." They nodded. Rangnorik said, "I might have to show off to some
parents, to convince them to give up their kids." I said, "Good that
you thought of that. Yes, and they might want to inspect our school."
He said, "But we don't do much visible psionics here. Too dangerous. I
know. Show them Allguard." I said, "It's your job, your responsibility.
And George's, when they are actually in school. You can do it." He
nodded acceptance. We hugged with love.
What we thought would happen, did happen. Some of the prospective
students didn't come to the school, but enough did to make a good
class. We didn't push the reluctant ones. Their Guardians recommenced
against it. Rangnorik is a very good teacher. They love him. They love
all of us now. Not a bad thing at all.
While in my Bureau office, I was asked to see the Director. The Head
Shrink was there, too. My pink elephant illusion followed me in, and
sat next to me. They smiled. The shrink said, "Why the pink elephant?"
I said, looking innocent, "What pink elephant?" The Director had to
laugh. The shrink pointed and said, "Right there." I looked where he
pointed, and the elephant had vanished, only to reappear when I looked
away. I said, "I didn't see it. Are you sure?" He said, "Why are you
doing this?" I said, smugly, "Because I can." The elephant got up and
honked at him, and walked through the closed door, in outraged dignity.
I said, "You didn't expect me to be unaware of why you asked me here,
did you? No, I didn't peek. Got a brain, you know." The director looked
at the shrink, who sighed and said, "Alright. I was wrong." I said,
"Not completely. Yes, I've changed. It's called growing up. For me,
that's a little different from what it is for most people." He said,
"Oh! I should have thought of that." I said, musically, "Yes." My grin
made him give me one back. The Director had a sudden idea. He said,
know, tell me that so strongly, I can't deny it. Actually started when
I was eleven. Been resisting it ever since. Can't do that now, it's so
obvious. Oh, alright."
Mom ported in, and said, "He's right. He is, just like his father
was. I think more, actually." I said, "Enlightenment isn't a set thing.
There are degrees, like in everything else so ephemeral. And it's
personal, different for each person. I have to block your seeing my
aura, or it would be very distracting for you." The director said, "May
we see it?" I let them, and they said, "Wow!" I said, "True. I block it
so people wont try to plug their phones into me for a recharge." They
made choking noises. I blocked it again. He said, "Your father's aura
scheduled to die anytime soon. I'm not needed on the other side like he
was, and he wouldn't allow me to be pulled so hard like he was." Mom
looked at me and said, "You didn't tell me that!" I said, "You know how
it is. A lot of times I don't know something until I need to for a
situation. That's going to get worse, the more I live in No-Mind." She
said, "I accept. It was the same with your father." I said, "But
shorter." She grinned and poked me. She said, "Yes, you're taller now.
Want to show them the real you?" I dropped all disguise. The Director
said, "Striking!" The shrink said, "I agree. Very noticeable now. Your
enlightenment actually shows in your face." I said to Mom, "True?" She
said, "Look for yourself." I did, and said, "Oh! More reason to keep
the disguise going. I really shouldn't show me to Paolo!" She laughed,
and had to explain, "The Pope would LOVE to make him a Saint, just like
the previous one wanted to do to his father." The shrink said, "But
he's Jewish!" I said, "And the Apostles weren't?" He said, "Oh!" I
said, "No, it's oy vey!" They had to laugh.
