Obviously, this person doesn't understand how Usenet and Usenet client
software works.

(I replied in a.b.tvshows only so Ficus Ponderosa may not see this
reply if he/she primarily monitors a.b.teevee.)

The Partridge Family was posted as one large upload spanning all three
seasons.  What that person got was a snapshot of an ongoing process.
My client grouped the uploads differently, in both a.b.teevee and
a.b.tvshows browsing windows, due to when I downloaded headers from
each group.  (And both of my groupings differed from Ficus Ponderosa
due to when I downloaded headers versus when he/she did the same at a
different time.)

Usenet is not the World Wide Web (WWW) and works differently.
Expectations that both systems will work identically is unrealistic.
