Ok then
I will have a look at the NV settings.
Some settings valid in CPU encoding wont work when using a VC.
you can alter the file size box as well.
watch the audio size.
you want AAC not OPUS for compatability.
in 1.5 AAC default was 115 variable.
in 1.7 it is 300+
No biggie it is variable anyway and does multi chan.
I should warn you at low bit rates VC encodes are not as good as CPU encodes.
As the bitrates increase there is less of a difference.
1.7 seems to do a much better job of VC encoding.
i will re visit as much of my experimentation was done with 1.5.
Speed difference is massive, i bet the CPU encodes made you want to cry.
load up your files before setting the bitrate.
It will do the audio bit then you alter the bitrate/file size.
You see i have a file loaded.
you can save the settings as a preset.
preset can be set as default.
worth doing when you have settings you are happy with.
