We can watch x265 just fine and prefer that codec when it comes to viewing.
PCZ has posted a number of x265 uploads, which we appreciate. He's
mention Brad a number of times so I thought I'd try a few of his posts.
Some of Brad's x265 played fine, others won't. Problem appears to be
1080p versus 720p but that shouldn't be it. Most likely is a variance
in encoding.
We have UNIX and OSX systems so Windows native software won't work for us.
I'm having the person who does most of the video conversions download
Handbrake and give it a try. (She's using an older video converter and
is set in her ways ... getting her to change is like pushing a boulder
uphill.)
