Okay, I recognize that menu.
These are recorded using a DVD recorder; basically a vcr with a dvdr
drive instead of the tape. I had one for a few years. The discs
probably have a VIDEO_RM folder in addition to the VIDEO_TS folder.
They will create a new entry in the menu for each recording session. I
think I had my options set for creating a bookmark every 5 minutes.
I used my recorder to convert all of my Doctor Who vhs tapes to dvd.
Looks like someone did the same for this show. It's a quick and easy
method of conversion/capture.
You'd have to do like PCZ suggests and narrow down to begin/end times
and enter those into handbrake in order to break them down into
individual episodes.
