The "gobbledegook filenames" are almost all obfuscated files, which may or
maynot be complete. DLing any of them will almost always be fruitless.
Obfuscated files may or maynot be posted to a single NG which would make
your efforts to DL them highly risky and maynot resolve your efforts at
all. What you need to do is to subscribe to a NZB Index website and find
whatever files you want through their list of "obfuscated" files.
Personally, I use NZB Planet. Use your Internet browser to search for a
NZB Index website and subscribe to whatever site you choose.
Granted, this will make you subscribe rather than continue using your News
browser to find what you want, and it will probably cost you something in
addition to your NG provider and client. Thanks to the DMCA cops who rob
you of finding what you want, but that is the cost you will have to pay to
DL what many/most good posters use these days.
