Software - Past - Present - Future Vol. 2.nfo
GENERAL INFORMATION
=====================
Album: Past - Present - Future Vol. 2
Artist: Software
Year: 1987
Genre: New Age / Electronic / Synth-pop / Ambient
DESCRIPTION
==================
Fortunately, Past-Present-Future, Vol. 2 is. Like its predecessor, available as a cut-out. This is a great CD but Software - Michael Weisser and Peter Mergener -- should have packaged volumes 1 and 2 as a double CD set. They pulled tracks from the same block of CD's and the liner notes, except for track titles, are identical. The theme is the same and the flow is consistent. But, Mergener and Weisser have a reputation for biting the hands that feed them, including the music buying public. Even at that, the music on this disc is outstanding. Like its predecessor, this CD is hard to find. Again, it should be available in cut-out bins if it is still out there. It is another highly recommended Berlin school set and will appeal to fans of Paul Ellis, Dave Fulton, Ron Boots and Kees Aerts. - Jim Brenholts
