I "could" post 'em there but then everyone would be pissed off at me for posting MP3 files to a lossless group.

Most all of these tracks were recorded in the 50s... all the quality that is... is in the mp3s... even if I had ripped
them to Flac... there'd be no difference.

The Flac format (of itself) can't add to the quality of an audio recording.... no matter how much someone wants to
believe it.  If that were the case we could take all those old Edison recordings.. the ones that looked like toilet
paper tubes... record them as Flac and they'd sound like brand new (made yesterday) recordings.
