That's a massive download and I'm not surprised you had some problems.
However it may be partly to do with your news server's efficiency ....
which you can sometimes get round by identifying one or two badly
damaged files and downloading them again from a clean set of headers.
There were a lot of par2 files as well. Maybe one or two that you
didn't download, or downloaded incorrectly?
Get good copies of the headers involved from this link:

Anyway, tick a few files from this list, create an nzb file and load
it into your news browser. Unison? I don't know anything much about
how it works so either you double-click the downloaded nzb, or it'll
be listed somewhere under file ... or import ...
