Battle of Cholm, Soviet Union, German General Theodor Scherer (left)
and an unknown german officer standing in front of a building. Please
note: Date January 1942 seems to be not correct, because General
Scherer is carrying the Knight's Cross, which was lent to him at the
end of February same year. Concerning the date of the foto it might be
better to say: early 1942.
