One of phillip close friends if going tell the story...
We were in a bar where they consumed a cheap "Happy Hour" drink made up of
strong alcohol. During this visit one of our friends offered Phillip a
tablet, which was a new synthetic drug. We are convinced that Phillip was
not able to know what he consumed in his drunken condition.
After a first breakdown we brought him to our house, where we all fell
asleep. The next morning i found Phillip dead in his bed; passed by an edema
in his brain. Phillip was only 16 years of age and leaves his parents and
his brother Daniel.
At the funeral I found mourning, but not broken parents. The entire family
is very impressed by the enormous sympathy from all over the world. I handed
them printed condolence messages from you and they read each of them after a
common meal. I want to thank you all for all the mails and the sympathy,
although you know Phillip only through my photos. In the future I will miss
something and it is the realization that Phillip is not here anymore. He
will live forever in my heart. and when i say forever.. it's FOREVER!
now a little more about phillip for who didn't knew him... :
- It is hard to cover the life of someone in words, but I want to try for
the memory of Phillip because he was one of my best friends, a great model
and a fine character of a boy. We all ask ourselves why young people have to
leave our world so early yet we will never find an answer. Instead, we need
to accept this fact of life and try to embrace a better world where we can
join our loved ones again.
Phillip was born in the year 1993 and raised in a middle-class family in a
lovely country-side town. Five years later his parents added a little
brother, Daniel, and it seemed the luck of the family couldn't be better. In
the late 90's, Phillip started to participate in gymnastics with a local
club made up of a group of boys with ambitious goals. They engaged a coach
from Romania and practiced hard to win upcoming competitions. Phillip was a
natural at playing sports so he quickly became one of the best in this
group. By 2002 he won the National Youth Championship of gymnastics as an
11yr old which included beating one year older boys in this event. It was
his biggest success in his sports career.
At this time someone noticed Phillip potential... and let him join in a
photography company. they arranged a first photo shoot in the summer which
turned out very nice and easy work of everybody. The outcome from this photo
shoot became part of their "Youth Body Language" book. Phillip and his
brother Daniel were so photogenic that they arranged many more occasions to
take photos of the brothers. i become a close friend of him because of the
gymnastics trains. really since kids. An interesting detail in this time was
that Phillip never wanted to be photographed by anyone but my aunt, which
his parents reminded her very often. Phillip was very thankful as he started
to play soccer, where the training was easier, because it was an amateur
club.
Phillip ended his school career with the dream of working as a mechanic with
the famous car brand named "Porsche". This provided added motivation to
excel in the last year of school and to have a better school report. After
entry examinations, he was able to live his dream when he received an
apprenticeship with the car company. After this time he was working as an
apprentice which is often used by teenagers whose are not studying at the
university. He would frequently drive his moped to meet his friend at
different places so the circle of his friends grew bigger and bigger because
Phillip was a friendly boy and was very considerate. He experimented with
his look, one time long hair, the other month with short blond hair. He got
his first girlfriend and was popular in the discos and the bars, where the
teenagers had their meeting space. In most cases Phillip was a joker, who
entertained the crowed, so he was well known.
The last time I saw him, was in the night/day he died. he didn't have the
long hair any more which I liked so much. He had short blond hair and he
proudly showed me a new tattoo on his leg that we went out for make. He
received it at his 16th birthday and it showed an artful joker face. What a
great choice! In these days Phillip seemed balanced and satisfied. I really
think he was happy with his life.
Phillips life was short, but I never saw him for even a minute where he was
sitting silent. I'm really glad and lucky to have met him and to have been
his best friend....
Phillip, you are not forgotten!
NEVER! BECAUSE YOU'LL BE ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS!
