I see you're using a Nikon D300S...I have a Nikon CoolPix 630S (heh) and try
shooting airplanes whenever I see them. Yup...I see a plane's contrail at
30,000 feet and I'm trying to get a 'good' shot of it with my pocket camera and
its telephoto cranked all the way out!
Of course a CoolPix wasn't made for that but I keep on trying.
Spectacular shot! A testament to the camera and especially you the
photographer.
I make the assumption you were using a telephoto lens...about how high up and
far away was the plane?
