Here is part of the short lived National Howard Stern Radio Show. This was broadcast in the winter of 1986 on Saturday mornings. It was different from Howard's regular weekday show because there was a live audience and Howard played some records. All songs he played have been edited out except for a bootleg recording of "Brown Sugar" from Brussels October 17, 1973 and not 1974 as Howard says. This song was originally aired on the King Biscuit Flower Hour in 1974. Howard first interviews Mark Farner from Grand Funk and gets him to play "I'm Your Captain" on an acoustic guitar. Mark sticks around for Howard's next guest,Mick Taylor from The Rolling Stones. Mick plays some blues and Mark sings the words to one of his songs, "Judgment Day Blues". They both join in for a Snapple commercial, more interview and a closing jam while Howard reads the credits. There is a bit of static from the FM station, but nothing that ruins the recording.
