I grew up on Heinlein, Schmidt, Niven and then Varley and Spider. I have read
Weber, but I find that after reading 4 or 6 of any of his series, the plots
within plots are too forced to hold my interest (the same can be said for
Clancy).

I love David R. Palmer and his work, but he goes through 20-years of writers
block and the last thing he published was the continuation of the Candy series
in Analog.

Would someone(s) please suggest Science Fiction authors that fit their writing
style?

Thanks.

Pi
