Hello.

I'm new to this group, and I'd like to contribute to it, seeing that I
have several dozen Criterion films.

However, they were borrowed, and my rips were compressed with DVD
Shrink, to fit on standard blank DVD's.

I assume most of the people in the group want lossless Criterion rips,
which I understand.

However, would anyone object if I posted compressed rips?  At least
they'd be available until such time as lossless versions are posted.

I'd also like to know which uploading tool is recommended for these
movie groups.  I've uploaded literally hundreds of audio CD's over the
years, so I know what's involved with that.  But not movies, so I'm
wondering if anyone can suggest a FAQ site for me to read.  I'd post a
movie or two in a test group first, of course.

Thank you!

Smeggy
