That makes sense, although a little cumbersome, but I'm glad you are
so careful about saving everything because you are so great at filling
requests and I really appreciate that.
Portable HDs are not as tough as discs for sure and if you drop or
bang one it could be damaged and you could lose a lot good material.
I keep my HDs in a closed box with my old music cds (which are useless
with digital music so prolific) next to my desktop with the USB cords
poking out.The box is where it can't be kicked. I can plug in any HD i
want for saving or watching vids because the cords are marked so I
know what is what. I've got a 10 ft usb cord that stretches to a
laptop next to a 38" TV for viewing and use thumb drives to take vids
downstairs to watch on the big TV. Its really convenient and I never
have to move or jostle the HDs ever. Just an idea.
