I have used Agent for many years, even back from the days when it was
also the programme that I used for posting... way before Powerpost
made it all simple.
I agree that (fatal) memory access violation errors in it seem to be
more recent but does simply overwriting the exe with an original copy
fix things (for a while) ?
I also find that the 'ignore' will often attach itself to a random
file that I have never selected to ignore and is also a part of
something that I download regularly !
Checking the posted string(s) for possible matches with my list of
filters comes up with nothing ! Is anyone else having this problem ?
Not sure thats very clear so...
Example...
Downloading 'The blacklist'... NFO/Par and All (displayed) Rars, I
will often notice a missing rar file, I then have to 'Show All
Headers' and the missing file will be back where it is supposed to be
but with an 'ignore' symbol marked against it... I then have to
de-select 'ignore' and download as normal. And thats straight after a
brand new install on a brand new HDD.
It can't be Just Me :)
I tried V8 myself and gave it up after I realized how much control
that it takes away from the user... I prefer to do some things myself
and don't want EVERYTHING automated. There may be a way to turn these
things off but I just decided to go back to V6 for a simple life.
