Thanks for the pointers, I will save this as a text file for future
reference.
I remember using G-Spot years back, I think it was from the days when
it was common to download a video and then get the usual
message......' Codec Not Installed' Soooooo I had to find out what the
hell the codec was (using G-Spot) and then go off into internet land
to download the right codec BEFORE I could actually watch the video
that I just downloaded !
It sort of got to be a regular and annoying thing... downloading
'codec packs' from here, there and everywhere.
I'm greatful that Windows Media Player Classic and VLC have now kicked
THAT into history.
And Thanks for the feedback on the uploads, we don't get money or fame
for uploading but it's nice to get an occasional Thank You... just so
that we know that someone somewhere is downloading it and it's still
worth doing :)
