What's missing in replies is how or IF NewsBinPro notifies users when
an archive dl is incomplete and unrepairable.
I use Astraweb too and found this post incomplete & irreparable on
both their US and EU servers.
us.news.astraweb.com
Total of 91 PAR2 blocks required
eu.news.astraweb.com
Total of 200 PAR2 blocks required
This is an ongoing problem with Astraweb. The inexcusable part is the
post shows as complete in their overview (that would be the list you
get when you pull new headers). Even the 15% PAR2 supplied can't fix
that amount of brokenness so it's another ~2Gb in the trash.
I got a full copy from Newshosting that needed no repair. This was
done using the same NZB and the same software (Altbinz).
The only other info I can offer is the US and EU servers aren't fully
mirrored in every case. I just downloaded a list of mp3z and 2 of them
failed as incomplete (even though they were listed as complete in
Agent).**
I disconnected, switched the URL to eu.astraweb.com, and was able to
download those 2 immediately. AIUI anyone using the generic
"news.astraweb.com" will automatically be redirected to the server
closest to them which could explain a different result between US and
UK users for example.
I'd contact support to find how anyone managed to get a complete copy
but their replies in the past have been less than helpful.

11 NewsBin won't open my files correctly
12 Half my downloads are corrupted, what's going on?

Corruption is mailing a payment to your mortgage company and finding
it got dropped in a mud puddle en route making it unreadable.
ieee damaged
Missing parts is when you forgot to include the check.
Neither one works, but what comes next depends on which one it is.
Using corrupt to describe everything that goes wrong isn't likely to
stop anytime soon but it complicates the troubleshooting process.
