Actually QuickPar reports "Data Files: 0 blocks found" for this one*.
This PAR2 can't locate the data set it was created for. (So obviously
it can't error check or repair it.) Since it was uploaded that way,
the server it comes from won't change that.
I find your comments useful and appreciate links provided (like this
one) for more info or software. In this case if you look inside the
binsearch NZB, you'll find MIDs for both the original and the REPOST.
(you can also click the 'collection' link on the binsearch page.)
I'm not familiar with how Agent8 would handle that but no doubt Ralph
Fox could fill you in on the gory details. In any event if the one it
downloaded was repaired, it would have been the REPOST and you can
tell that because the OP added that to the filename of the avi itself.
In my case the copy on newshosting was incomplete on part 08 and
unrepairable. So I pitched it out and got the repost which repaired
with 3 blocks.
My suggestion to anyone would be to download the REPOST copy.
