/tears of laughter at "gift", rolling down my face.... I had to use
every skerick of imagination I could muster....!
As for Gryffindor logo?....... It's not yer best work. And that's not
a criticism. You knows it yerself.
The logo IS complicated. There are a million colour combinations and
layering to deal with and detail that would take a pro HOURS to
digitise. This is not a click and go logo. Most auto digitising
programs would have gone into meltdown.
It would HAVE to be manually punched. And by that I mean sectioned.
If you downloaded the Harry Potter files posted recently, you will see
this logo is not enclosed. The "easier" logos have been tackled. This
one is not for the faint hearted. I noted stitches missing in some of
those files, one should study them before they sew them. Some are a
good attempt, some not so good.
Stitch length on background is good. Hey! You had a crack at underlay
stitches! Finally, someone attempts underlay stitching for
stabilisation! It's mostly going the wrong direction.... but it's
there!
Lots of detail is missing, but like I said, this is a logo that would
cost a mint to have done professionally (and no one would take on the
Potter litigation empire anyway), and would take a long time to do.
It was a good crack at displaying just how much people don't
understand what they are requesting of the hack digitisers in here.
And I say "hack" with the utmost respect. I mean Amateurs having a go.
Digitising is an art, it isn't learnt overnight.
Time for bed. We are limping in the cricket and just got beat by a
whisker by the Kiwis in the Rugby.... can't win a trick!
/looks at Pixie graphic again....... rofl...
