I don't know how different your toolbars (Marsfel) are in version 4,
but here goes nuffin'. Internet Chick will be able to follow the
bouncy ball as writ.
You are looking to "send large messages as multiple messages".
That way servers don't have to chug down one large sum.
In your toolbar, look for --
Group-->Default Properties-->Sending Files-->Setting for Usenet
messages. (or some equivalent that looks close in Version 4,
Marsfel.)
In this window you want to tick UUencode, Attachments and tick the box
for "send large messages as multiple messages".
Set the maximum chars per message size for 400000. You will see the
line size changing as each figure is typed.
When that line size is above 10000 characters, some servers reject the
post. Your posts are around 17000 characters - a bit big!
Doing this tells Agent to split the post for you and the post will
arrive with 1,2,3,4 etc after it for joining. Exactly like Internet
Chick is already doing. The split just needs to be smaller IC.
Look at the other buttons. You also have the choice to put the
attachment name in the subject header (this also creates a new thread
if you have hit reply. ANY changes to a header subject forces a new
thread).
Does this help? I can't "see" the layout for version 4, but it would
have to be something like the above....hopefully.
Pixie :-)
And hey!! Winners are grinners!
Lemme know if the above doesn't make sense.
