Hi . Thanks for your comeback.
Nobody can say what another can post or not post, all that can be
expected is posters to recogniz what works best and follow that way.
Flooding groups with PAR files is of no advantage to the attending
poster and a complete waste of bandwidth as servers pass them around.
That way also shouts the poster does not understand how PAR was
designed to work, it being very likely they are just using a default
setting of a posting tool like that nefarious PowerPost.
Much of the PAR posted just do not work.
Do you test or verify data for your posts before you post all that
PAR?

My remark does not look at what your language is. I am referring to a
malignant posting method employed by NL posters (dutch) which began
with the FTD posters long ago and continues today despite FTD being
long dead in the water, as it was said, during the FTD wars, would
happen, eventually.
Your posting method is very much *exactly* the method dutch post their
trash. FTD posting is easily marked and deleted.
I include one archived comment post from that time.
FTD postings killed off whole active Groups and some groups remain
today completely destroyed with others totally off the wall in
postings per 24 hours. Millions of headers and the content of posts
total trash!
The Dutch still do not care. They have ISP plans that reward them for
posting and the servers only hold posts for a few days so you get
predictive postings of the same thing under many different subject
titles.
Just one example of a score or two of groups is alt.binaries.misc.
Go download just a sample of the 72 Million headers, all dutch crap
and totally not needed by anyone.
<abm> used to be the absolutely best group for grabbing all sorts of
helpful programs and tools for Usenet and Computing, then the FTD
came, a Virus.

ABC is used by many discussion craft groups to post an occasional
file, usually very small and not very often. I monitor the group
mainly to report spammers and therefore keep the group active on
servers. I have been told that the group will be taken down if it is
allowed to be a spam trap.
Crafters sent here to download a file , a small BMP could avoid the
download when they have to download hundreds of headers just to find
one file. Same goes for people posting the file here, they may not
post if they have to download 5MB of headers just to find their 60KB
post so they can report it to their discussion group.
Yet you can post what you want, there is no way to say "No thanks"
other than to explain what happens here in ABC. It is your choice.
In saying adios I do wonder if you have come from those DVD groups
as they too do flood PAR everywhere. Whatever or wherever you did
learn to post I can say to you in all honesty the lessons were a
waste, as in any group away from those fast groups you are going to
get trouble posting PAR as you do.
Post an index file as a PAR2 and wait for requests to be made for the
fills required. PAR was designed to work that way, not how you post
it.
>thanks,
Thanks

What is FTD?
You install a -Dutch language- program called FTD.exe on your
computer.
You type the FTD# and you're redirected to a forum-type layout:

Hi moron, Cooooooooooooooooooooolllllll, thanks, here are some points
for you!!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
etc.
Moron1 upload his great game and makes a new tread on FTD.
Moron2&3 browse FTD, see this great game, and the only thing moron 2&3
do; is
start there newsreader, do a search on the FTD# in that group and d/l
the
files.
There is no interaction with that newsgroup what so ever!
No point in posting "F*cking FTD poster", "stop posting your FTD crap"
They DON'T see it!
FTD is only based on the Dutch language.. ever think if the
consequence if
there comes an English variant???
