It's not rar files specific you are having trouble with. It's any
attachment over the size specified in your settings. You could post a
huge sized jpg and it would split if it was too big for the settings.
That is why I offered to set the line size really high, so as to stop
the automatic splitting occurring.

It's got nothing to do with rar or zip, just in case you thought that.
Usenet Explorer is not handling the splitting of files at all well.
Any files over the specified size in the settings are affected.
Making the line size setting extra big is not a fix for the problem
though.
