Here's my 2 cents...
I wanted a cheaper embroidery/sewing machine because I knew that I
wouldn't be using it all that much, just for home use.
I bought a singer at costco first and tried it and it didn't go so
well and I knew it was going to be a pain so I took it back. Then I
bought a brother. I just love it. Works great from the first day and
no problems what so ever unlike the singer.
