Excellent posting, .m'Lady.
Your advice is how the NG should be working for
information threads. Sewers advising sewers, as it is
done in the sewing group/s.
It is because the male gender is 'dominant' in ABCP
that much of the 'troubles' are posted.
This thread being no different.. until you posted.
Part of what I do here in ABCP is in empowering
leaders as yourself. Others object to that, never
mind.. ignore them:-)
Sooo. FYI..?
The original poster (OP) is a shonk (shyster-carpetbagger)
being most likely what we in Australia call a proponent of
a "Dorothy Dixer". In Usenet some people (loose use) believe it is
great entertainment to invent a name, post a valid question
in a dumb manner and sit back and watch the fools stumble over
themselves in bringing up the information.
There is little one can do to avoid falling victim to such trolls,
particularly when the ego is rising, fast.
Patience and a little looking is maybe the best advice I can
give.
A search on the Authors name is a good place to start:
http://preview.tinyurl.com/28rjztu
http://groups.google.com/groups/search?as_q=&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&num=100&scoring=&lr=&as_sitesearch=&as_qdr=&as_mind=1&as_minm=1&as_miny=2010&as_maxd=1&as_maxm=1&as_maxy=2010&as_ugroup=&as_usubject=&as_uauthors=robertbogers%40msn.com&safe=off
Your search - author:robertbogers@msn.com - did
not match any documents.
Next?
Asking for more information is a good test of
the genuine need. Rarely will these people use the same
name or method twice in one thread. No response says
you needn't bother wasting any more time on the task.
More sillyness , as a response..?... that you can work with.
Mostly the best skills you have are between your ears.
fushtas...
Contrary to your display on entering ABCP.. you have
shown you have a fine attitude and the brains to make
stuff happen.
Congrats on what is a fine post.
cheers
