Good to hear, Nieve.
I understand now, from looking at NewsRover myself, how
very difficult _understanding_ has been for you.
If it is any consolation for you?
You took the very hard road, Nieve, so my respect for
you is due, in you getting to where you have, well
done :-)

Websters or Funk & Wagnells, I wager?
Nieve, contrary to what others will tell you there is
only _one_ English dictionary --->Oxford
http://www.askoxford.com/
Something else that may help is this site.
I myself use a lot of these:
http://www.astro.umd.edu/~marshall/smileys.html
That said.. I would encourage those to write
any instructions in conventional "straight" English so
as to keep folks as your kind self fully informed.
Hopefully the tutorials have been written in that way.
They were reviewed by both Australian and Canadian
persons.

Your sense of humour is infectious, Nieve.
I 'speak' English, Nieve.
Americans 'speak' a version of English [Engrish] a
broken English. You (if) being taught that version will
have a very difficult time understanding my Australian.
Australian language (lingo) is very much more broken
than American English (Engrish) and so it is we can
understand them but they too (like you) have difficulty
understanding us.
So, short version?
Bust that English as much as you like.. we (Aussies)
have heard it, done it... all..!!
We can understand Americans.
We will understand you.. no problem :-)
And for the Yanks reading my post?
Before you get overly "postal".. check the attachment
to see just how screwed over you guys do English.. you
even confuse yourselves..!!

The language built "Down Under"???

cheerio.. Nieve, and keep an eye on those headers for
any brown-eyed mullet in your read <bg>
