Not entirely.
There are those who will understand
"give a man the rod and he shall catch his own fish".
Then there are others who will find the technology
simply exhausts them in acquiring the skill.
Also... remember.. digitisers "do it" because they want
to.
One has to keep them happy too.
A delicate balance?
I reckon even Kofi Annan, as another retired "old
coot", wouldn't want the job<g>
.. and btw.. you are leaving out "Sammy" if you wish to
challenge _all_ digitisers here in ABCP.

Agreed... but the thrust has to be in educating a mix.
Anything else --- in relying only on "auto-digi" and
editing of product -- will simply produce results like
this:

.. hardly even seemingly passable :-0

For those that wish to? Sure.
Many may however simply wish to sew something digitised
occasionally. This is where ABCP can help.
What is then needed is for the project requested to be
fully described by the requestor.
Something I think we (digitisers) are all trying to
say/put, albeit overly 'politely' :-<

Many I have seen require a commercial artist.
The problem then is what does one "rebuild" in an image
and still meet the expectations of the requestor?
One has to run through a "is this what you want to see"
type scenario.
With the limited feedback so far experienced -- using
that method -- only frustration and wasted time has
been the result. For both parties no doubt.

Exactly.. and what has just recently been given example
of.. a number of times.
Note the feedback on those attempts ;-/
Again thanks for the challenge<g>
Your other effort I shall address in due course.. time
is of the essence this morning.
A project to get cracking on :-)
