You're getting confused I think?
It is not what 'we' see in how your posting lists, it
is what _you_ see in how posts list.
You cannot work with a view of the list that doesn't
aid you in sorting what is where, visually.
You get that?

Please tell me you didn't rush out and buy a
copy/subscription to Newsbin simply because it has a
Giganews interface ability??
I can understand why you might think such a move was a
sound investment.. bad news is.. it is not. Sorry :-(
As to your other 'question'?
Think of the whole deal this way.
Herb has a long history here in ABCP.
All of it has been in helping folks with problems and
supplying whatever he can when he can.
Nobody has all the answers.
However each that has some makes a whole.
This is how Usenet works.
I do not agree with some of Herbs views.
Herb does not agree with my style of interaction.
This is healthy, for us as individuals and for the NG.
One of my 'ethics' is.. attack a regular poster and the
NG is being eroded. People have worked hard to maintain
'services' for this NG.
Erode the NG and I am onto it.. it is that simple.
Now as to who posts what.. is it really that important?
I believe it is the message which overrides the
identity.
That is what I address, the message.
There is no doubt [ggg] is a "nym switching g00n".
There is no doubt [ggg] is posting from GN.
The rest is a message for whomsoever made that post.
I trust they got the message.
cheers
