You used NZB.. right?

Definitely, that much is apparent from the (1/386) record
a search will show. No need to download the file, at all.

You wont listen.. but others just might... that *is* MIGHT.
The screens shown on the site pointed to are for setups of Winrar
to do MASS postings of LARGE archives with the INTENT of
dropping [PAR] files as a way (excuse) of not supervising the post.
IOW.. and I am being very up front about this.. In other words this
tutorial, and indeed the WHOLE site, is there to encourage folks to
WRECK /TRASH/DESTROY Usenet.
Yes, I know some NSP sites point to it.. owning and running a NSP does
not mean the people concerned have a clue.. or care.
And the prime joke is the very folks who built that site run servers
that only hold posts for a few days. So what is the freaking point of
building 4GB@15MB/part posts when the server is not going to hold
them?
I will tell you my hypothesis?
To create a virtual file transfer system within Usenet that is "live"
as in "real time". This because NNTP is the only protocol left that
will accommodate such loads and do so seamlessly.
In short, The FTD (the people behind this) are setting out to hijack
the whole of the binary system that is Usenet.
A cancer on the networks.
Now.. I could not give a FF if you are the same "Jean" or not, you
certainly behave the same way.. buuut if indeed you are your own
person AND you have _any_ interest in this NG then you will cease and
desist with the antics you have been guilty of in the past.
This includes promoting that site.
Anybody using that NL BullShit site to set themselves up in this NG
has only brought trouble with them.
Regrettably many of these folks do not have a good grasp of English
and are therefore nearly impossible to reach in showing them how this
group works, or indeed how any of Usenet works AFTER they have
used the info on that site.
I am wrong you say?
You take five minutes and go check the winRAR setup screens I provide
in the tutorials.
You will see significant differences to the BS shown on that site.
WHY?
Simple.
"To split the volume into multiple pieces, we choose the size
of each part at 'Split to volumes, bytes'. In this example
I choose for 10.240.000, which is equal to 10MB"
All of that paragraph clearly shows how braindead that author is.
Even in the highspeed DVD groups post of this size disappear within
a week..! Anything over 5MB and the poster is taking the risk the post
will not propagate at all..!
The clincher?
ABCP has a max size of ~ 2-3MB for any particular design set that is
properly configured for uploading.
Using that page, to set up with, means every file posted here would be
a SINGLE RaR file. Were that to eventuate then every post here would
require reposting several times to get to everyone.. IF it ever did.
I know you neither know nor understand any of this, so I expect you to
do your usual clueless hopping about. As has been the case none of
your tantrums will change a thing.
You will not kill the messenger. Period.
