Pixie,
I appreciate your input and if I gave the impression I didn't, I do
apologize.
As far as NNJ, believe me, I get it. You're correct about one thing, I
do stay on my computer way too much. I do enjoy it.I am disabled and
really can't get around much, so Books on Tape and computer helps me
pass the day.
I grew up in a town where every other guy was a grifter, always on the
look out for an innocent they could con. Thank goodness my father
taught me well. Maybe a little toowell. I am somewhat wary of people I
don't know.
NNJ, if you are reading this and are taking some pleasure in my
writings, please know, ikt has nothing to do with you. I just have
something of a temper and when pushed I may over react. I grew up
knowing that if I showed weakness I would probably get my butt kicked
everyday. I have learn to do it in a more refined way. At least I hope
it is refined.
Pixie, thank you for taking your time to give me some history of what
has and still is happening around here.
I do have unlimited time; is that the correct description, so trying
to get designs is not a problem.
I have learned or at least trying to keep up with the posters who are
sending out junk. I just don't bother anymore.
Having said that, Herb recently as helped me get a few things. In
fact, in his own way, Hopper has been a great help. He just gets so
testy. I sometime, I just push back.
In reading posts and keeping my mouth shut, I beginning to get the lay
of the land.
But some habits are difficult to break. I will thank people who help
even if they are corrupt. That's their problem.
So please trust me that I'm not some rube off a farm and being taken
in. I'm not. I just try to stay out of the frey unless someone says
something I think is out of line.
Take care,
and again, thank you
