Hopper, Hopper, Hopper,
I have a great deal of respect for your knowledge. And, I know many
believe you to be a toad; I don't. I believe you to be someone who
speaks their mind and just won't abid idiots. Sure, you can be a
little, shall we say, short with people. Probably because you have
better things to do (I say that withall respect, I'm not knocking it,
just incase anyone misunderstands). Where I'm from, a person who
speaks their mind is preferred to someone who doesn't and acts like
they are what they're not).
Having said that I'm going to try to explain some of what I'm about. I
wouldn't bother if I thought you were an idiot.
>>the idiots you are cuddling up
>>>with will tell you different. The joke is, one of them is
I'm here to get designs, I've been upfront about that. And even if I
need to get info or help from someone you don't respect, remember
this, I am a desigh whore. We don't care about where or from whom.
Sad but true.
So if I thank that same person after I have been able to retrieve said
designs through their assistance, I appreciate it. Really Hopper,
cuddling, I haven't cuddled since I was in the back seat with my now
husband. I don't want to sex with said persons, I just want the
designs.
>>What are you trying to get from a tutorial.
>>Is that the problem, maybe?
I find many tutorials are written by folks who don't really write for
the layperson. I could be wrong, it's just something I've experienced.
Take Brother, the programmers who wrote PE Design, some of their
instructions were a little hard to comprehend. Not just me, many. When
there was a Brother convention (I was there), I was in a class where
the programmers came and asked what they could do to improve the
software. One of the things mentioned, make the manuals a little
easier to read. Now granted, we were just a bunch of mindless
sewers/embroiderer/digitizers, but that's the way we rolled. And you
know what, they did improve it.

You know what, my sister is brilliant, but unfortunately I'm not even
close. And as I mentioned in my response to Pixie, I didn't graduate
from college. In fact, in grade 9 I had a algebra class, was doing
miserably. Probably wouldn't have advanced to the 10th grade had it
not been for Mr. Mazzari, my Algebra teacher. I remember him sitting
me down and asking me, "do you intend to go to college?" I told him
no. He said he was going to pass me so I could move on to the 10th
grade. In high school, 10th through 12th, I took business classes.
Instead of math, I was in accounting, a very primary class. I took 3
years of typing, well, you get the idea.
>>2. As far as all the tutorial, they give me a headache because of

>>Bullshit.
Not in my opinion, I'm in starting to get cataracts, Medicare wants me
to wait until I'm a little further along before I can get them taken
care.
>You are a lazy bastard>
First, I'm not a bastard, parents were married, and generally speaking
isn't calling someone a bastard usually is a male. Anyway, here in my
part of the world that's the case. I believe bitch would have been
more appropriate. Although, as I mentioned to Pixie, being called a
bitch is a badge of honor for me. If someone is calling me a bitch, I
feel I must be doing something right. Now Hopper, I realize this is a
cultural difference. Now I notice the word f*ck is used every so often
here. Now I was raised understanding that was not an acceptable word
to use in mixed company . If someone were to say that word in mixed
company, my Dad was likely to punch their lights out. Alas, I find in
my country, it is being used more and more. I guess I'm just a
dinosaur.
>>>1. don't ask me to leave, I'll be devasted,

I misspoke, the reality is, I would probably leave on my own as I
really don't like bugging people. And pleading, if I gave that
impression, so sorry. My friends will have a chuckle over that one.
The problem with writing in a venue like this is, you really can't
hear the inflection in a person's voice, nor can you see theirbody
lanuage. Many a war (in a group such as this, or even email groups)
has been started for this very reason.
>This is just pathetic, yet I understand the emotion.
Now see Hopper, this is exactly the reason you are so misunderstood.
>>Intelligence leeches as yourself make your own bed.
O.K., help me out here, what does that mean? I'm not being a smartass,
I really don't know.
>>IOW.. bleat your heart out.. nobody here _really_ gives a shit.
>>There are more than enough genuine people in need with
>>good files in their stash who can be and will be helped.
Bleat my heart out. Did you actually use the word bleat. How could you
possibly determine I was bleating. Reference back to my thoughts about
inflection in voice and body language.
>>We (helpers) are here and willing to help those that are
>>at least making an effort.
>>Intelligence leeches as yourself make your own bed.

>>Usenet experience.
I am grateful to those that share their knowledge but Hopper, let's be
clear, what you are really calling me is an intelligence bloodsucker.
I just wanted to clarify. And as far as not having a good experience,
well in that you are most correct.....you could even say, that's a
fact.
>IOW.. bleat your heart out.. nobody here _really_ gives a shit.
>>There are more than enough genuine people in need with
>>good files in their stash who can be and will be helped.
First, I need to as what IOW means. That aside, how could you possibly
know whether or not I'm genuine. Is it because I don't meet your
standards or perhaps you are the genuine police and you can determine
who is or who is not genuine. There is no way you can really know, I
think it's really just your opinion. But, please why not just say,
IMHO, well, maybe not so humble. I still can't believe you use the
word bleat. (that was a chuckle incase I'm misunderstood)
Main Entry: bleat
Pronunciation: \'blet, Northern also 'blat, Southern usually 'blat\
Function: verb
Date: before 12th century
intransitive verb
1 a : to make the natural cry of a sheep or goat; also : to utter a
similar sound b : whimper
2 a : to talk complainingly or with a whine b : blather
transitive verb
: to utter in a bleating manner
Not a sheep or a goat, whimper, ask my children if I'm known to
whimper or whine,m however, I have been known, on occasion, to
blather, ask my husband. So I'll give you that one.
>>Hence your fetish will develop into frustration.
>>Trust me on this score.. I have seen the same scenario unfold
>>year in year out in pretty much every binary froup I inhabit.
I have a fetish....hmmmm and what is a froup? serious question.
>>This is just pathetic, yet I understand the emotion.
>>As you gather the understanding this group is

Now see, I thought I was being greedy. I guess this is just a simple
difference in our opinion.
Well, Hopper, I hope you will read this the kindness and understanding
I know you are capable of.
Now that is cuddling1
