I don't understand your reply, so we are
even, yeh?
>why are you so insulting
Why are you so challenged by truth?
Feeling a tad "precious" today are we, possums?
Some solid advice for you to take with you.. if nothing else.
Where you are going to reply to post you are not
familiar with the style of, go read _all_ posts by that
Author _before_ you leap to a judgement.
I did, for you, hence I know _exactly_ what I have to do...
now read on McDuff.

Please listen very carefully.. I say this only once.
Never attempt to divert the course of a thread by lying.
Folks are a lot smarter than you give them credit for.
/takes your twinky nose and rubs it in this:
" Herb Can You Help"
Herb is not "someone", at all.
Herb is a netizen of some repute and a well respected
character of this group and others.
You have posted a question with an implied
expectation - directly to a member of ABCP..
This is not how Usenet works.
And you have been reading the group long enough
to know this IF you read anything more than replies
to your own posts.. another 'requirement' of group
participation.
>this there is no need for insults.

This is your view/opinion.
I do not share it and I _know_many others would not
share it either.
Trust me.. IF I wanted you to feel insulted you would
not be responding ****at all***..
Very possible you would instead be checked in at
Calvary Hospital, just down the road!!
You are being motivated, is all.. and I will expand to
say why that is.
Aussies are very few in number anywhere across Usenet.
Without going to why that is, I say to you the few that
are present generally strive to set an example of
"How to do it".
Certainly the few in this NG follow that ethos.
Your request (REQ) was possibly the worst example I have
ever seen here (ABCP) in more than four years of viewing
material posted for digitising.. and the range is amazing in its
ability to astound the reader.. but yours, yours takes
"top of the list" in Worst Ever REQs!!
There is not a digiPerson on this planet who could produce
a design from that - lets call a spade a spade - CRAP!
Yes, I could set to work and produce something similar
-- after maybe 20 hours of work -- but you can bet your
sweet bippy there would be *something* about the artwork
you would have a problem with.
Therefore the work would never be sewn out.. left discarded
as a "seemed like a good idea at the time'.
And if there is one thing that pisses a digiPerson off, it is to know
their work is lying in a stash somewhere never to be
sewn -- after being requested! WTF!
And **we** k n o w.
There are "sekrit codes" built into a digi piece that sing when they
are loaded to a machine with a hoop set.
(apols to Lee Falk)
Simply put, only *you* know what you want
--->so *you* do the artwork
--->*you*provide the specifications as to "size"
--->you nominate the target material
---> you decide the durability required
IOW
--->*you* have to do more than plonk your post down
and yell "Hey YOU"... and in a banner post, no less!
.. lets hope you "get it" straight off.
Where you want material to read on "How to post a REQ"
go look for the "mini FAQ" posted.
Where you want WWW links to advice, do ask.
Your choice.
